Usages on this java genetic map

Zoom: There are five ways for zooming.

  1. Use the zoom buttons on the left.
  2. Draw a rectangle around the vertical line in the panel labeled with Loci, then click the drawed rectangle.
  3. Draw a rectangle around the chromosome cartoon on the left. Move the top or bottom edge of the drawed rectangle by mouse to change the zoomed range.
  4. Set the range in the textfields on the left, then click OK.
  5. Use reset button or "Zoom out" popup menu to go back to the full scale of the chromosome.
Please note: The ranges shown in the display are approximate.

Search:

Intervals and loci in the chromosomes can be searched for containing letters using the input dialogs.

The range for the interval seach is the whole chromose, while locus search is in the zoomed range.
