Of the original 113 plants, 19 individuals were found to have more than 45% missing data; these individuals were not included in constructing this updated map.

_n_n_mapped loci were derived from ESTs, of which 615 showed similarity to
_n_n_known genes.  This version of the Nipponbare/Kasalath map is the most
_n_n_dense genetic map of rice to date.
